Catastrophic Sounds

… is based out of Philadelphia, PA as well as New York, NY and was founded by Michael Rinaldi. It is a collaborative, fusion experiment born out the desire to create cinematic, emotive and surreal musical scenes by artists whom live in these cities.

Our greatest desire is to create fusion synergy - composing and arranging tracks and albums alike, which are comprised of elements of the following: organic sounds of jazz, funk, RnB, indie and pop as well as produced elements of melodic bass music, glitch step and downtempo.

We are developing an avenue to publish our art as well as to create licensing and sync opportunities. In collaborating together, we’re evolving our skillset.

During the years of 2021 and 2022, 5 records were written and/or produced by Michael along with 4 other artists. Unique in their own right, together they create the undertone of what Catastrophic Sounds feels like. Please stay tuned as we roll out what we have been up to with you and launch a brand.
